Founded in 1940, Region Oil has developed a
distinguished reputation in Northwest New Jersey (Morris, Sussex and
Warren Counties).
For over 60 years, Region Oil has been providing top-quality heating
oil and 24-hour emergency service to our neighbors in Morris, Sussex
and Warren Counties.
Started by John Squeri and Frank Epps in 1940, Spartan Oil - the
precursor to Region Oil - provided home heating services for many coal
converted homes during the '40s and '50s.
The original company consisted of three people - John Squeri, Frank
Epps and their office staff of one. John and Frank acted as
servicemen, salesmen and truck drivers, while their "Gal Friday"
handled office responsibilities. By providing top-grade fuel,
competitive prices and unsurpassed services, it wasn't too long
before the company began to grow. By the mid-1950s, the company was
servicing about 1,000 accounts in and around the Dover, New Jersey
area.
By the mid-1970s, Mr. Squeri and Mr. Epps's company had made an
undeniable mark for service and excellence in the Morris County area.
Today, Region Oil is still recognized as the premiere
home heating company in the Morris, Sussex and Warren County area.
The company has grown to over 25 delivery trucks. Aside from
providing home fuel delivery and 24-hour emergency service, Region Oil
also offers brand-name heating and cooling equipment, installations
and annual tune-ups.
In addition, Region Oil now has the largest No. 2 heating oil storage
facility in the region - more than four million gallons in all.
